Personal Anxiety Cure

  1. Pray – say a quick prayer about your anxiety and then switch to praying for someone else.
  2. Sing – sing a hymn or praise song… or hum, or whistle, or play it in your head.
  3. Occupy yourself – make a meal from scratch, talk to someone about them, work on a craft project, play a video game.
  4. Do something comforting – drink a cup of tea, take a bath… drink a cup of tea in the bath.
  5. When you suddenly realize that your anxiety is gone, repeat steps 1 and 2, this time in thanks.
